WCC Road Closures

Tuesday and Wednesday, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Traffic control devices will be installed on Kapiolani Boulevard and Ward Avenue.
When completed, all ewa-bound lanes of Kapiolani Boulevard between Kamakee Street and Ward Avenue will remain closed until Friday.
In addition, the mauka sidewalk between Kamakee Street and Ward Avenue and the Ward Avenue Koko Head sidewalk between Kapiolani Boulevard and King Street will be closed to pedestrian access, also until Friday.
Wednesday at 9 a.m.
Barricades will be installed along Ward Avenue and King Street. Sidewalks along King Street and Ward Avenue fronting the Blaisdell will be closed.
Thursday, from 2:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The following road changes will be in effect:
Around the Neal S. Blaisdell Center:
Victoria Street will be closed between Beretania Street and King Street
The makai-bound lane of Victoria Street must turn right onto Beretania Street
Local traffic only will be allowed on Young Street, between Victoria Street and Pensacola Street
All mauka-bound lanes of Ward Avenue will be closed between Kapiolani Boulevard and King Street
The makai curb lane of King Street will be closed between Ward Avenue and McKinley High School driveway
Hawaii Convention Center Area:
The Atkinson Drive mauka-bound curb lane between Mahukona Street and Kapiolani Boulevard
On Kapiolani Boulevard, the Koko-head bound curb lane between Atkinson Drive and Kalakaua Avenue
On Kalakaua Avenue, the makai-bound curb lane between Kapiolani Boulevard and Ala Wai Canal Bridge
Additionally, there will be no morning contraflow on Ward Avenue or Kapiolani Boulevard
Thursday and Friday, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
During this period, traffic control devices will be removed along Kapiolani Boulevard and Ward Avenue, and pedestrian walkways will be re-opened.
Tuesday at 10 p.m. to Friday at 3:30 p.m.
Parks and Parking Lots
The entire parking lot at Magic Island will be closed to the public
Thursday through Sept. 10
The following city parks and parking areas will be closed to the public:
McCoy Pavilion and the “keyhole” parking area to include the tennis courts and the Honolulu Lawn Bowls Green
Ala Wai Community Park building and parking lot
The Ala Wai Promenade as well as the Ala Wai Canal between Kalakaua Avenue and Ala Moana Boulevard will be closed to pedestrian traffic as well as marine activity.
