Beth’s bill, HB1807, was signed into law by Governor Ige on July 5th as Act 201. It enables state employees who are national guard members to receive paid military leave while on in-active duty training, such as drill weekends.
HB1897 was signed into law as Act 204 by Governor Ige on July 5th. It was Beth’s second bill signed into law in 2016. The now Act 204 requires insurance coverage for STD screenings, including HIV and AIDS.
